He has whitewashed the well documented history of Zionist collaboration with the Nazis on the basis that mentioning it hurts the feelings of Zionists. He has even given speeches at pro-Israel events run by organizations linked to the Israeli embassy, and in interviews with pro-Israel news outlets has expressed opposition to boycotts of Israel, has framed anyone who does not have liberal Zionist views like him as 'anti-Semitic', and even spoken of his pride at being 'on the right side' against those who called him out for this. Rather than standing up for those falsely accused of anti-Semitism during the Labour anti-Semitism beatup under Jeremy Corbyn, he denounced them, uncritically accepting the allegations against them, and pointed to Labour having dealt with them swiftly and unjustly as positive things rather than travesties. He is the quintissential example of a Jewish exceptionalist with left-wing paint, who has spent years spreading the notion that Israel is special because it and many of its supporters of Jewish, attempting to police others and ensure that they do not denounce it in the correct terms for fear that Zionist feelings get hurt. In doing this, in whitewashing Israel and attacking its opponents for so long, he has done his part in allowing Israel to get to the point where it can openly carry out genocide with the enthusiastic support of its Western allies, including his own government - a Labour government under Starmer, who is where he is thanks to the very smear campaign that Jones did his part in fostering. Do not be fooled, do not support this guy or anyone like him until they repudiate without reservation. all of their prior beliefs and all of the harm they have done that helped to enable the Gaza Genocide, which they have now jumped on the bandwagon in denouncing, decades too late. There are literally thousands of people who can tell you all about the news regarding the Gaza Genocide and Israel's crimes. Jones adds nothing that you cannot get elsewhere from people who do not have a decades-long history of justifying Zionism while attacking its opponents.
